We had an enriching experience at Castillo Del Mar, located on the border of Riohacha's center. The hotel provided direct access to a semi-private beach and a private pool, making our stay very comfortable. The traditional food served was simple yet well cooked, catering to international palates. Our room had a great view and all the necessary amenities, including fully functional AC. The internal store made it convenient to access food and drinks. It was a perfect short stay for any kind of traveler, with or without family!

One downside was that the surrounding neighborhood was not easily accessible for international tourists as it is a residential area and might not inspire confidence at night. However, this did not significantly impact our overall experience at the hotel.
